I am not pregnant but bought this as a mid-rise option based on the reviews. It is full coverage on the bum and is pretty mid-rise. I have a super short torso so I appreciate the rise on this versus a high rise. Because it is stretchy, I wouldn't necessarily do anything extreme in these bottoms, but they do stay put for basic water wadding and toddler playing. I'm 5'3" and about 140 lbs and got a small and they fit great.
