Fabric and Care
Model in studio is 5'11" and wearing an XS, outdoors model is 5'8" and wearing an XL.
I love this smooth fabric and the seamed waistband is perfect. The legs do ride up on me u fortunately and end up looking way shorter than 5”
These shorts are awesome for running if you don’t need extra length. I have a 25” inseam and they end slightly above the middle of my thigh. They have really deep pockets (sometimes my phone feels lost down there!) I’m between sizes so I sized up to a S and while it bunches a bit between my legs, you can’t tell cause they’re black and they don’t budge while running so I’m a fan!
This was my first pair of baselines, I usually wear the longer rios or the PR’s. I wanted to love them because they come in some fun colors and prints and because I want to start playing some tennis this summer, but alas, they are too short for me. Once I got sweaty they stayed down, but before that it was not pretty, lol! I think it’s just my thigh shape that caused this, not Senita’s fault at all! These do have a more forgiving/bigger leg opening than the Rios and I prefer the look of the shorter length so I may try to wear them casually.
Okay, now that I've found the correct size, I understand the hype about these shorts. I'm a size 10, between a Medium and Large in Senita leggings (M in the waist, L in the thighs) and normally wear M leggings for running and L leggings for hiking or studio classes. I have tried both a L and XL in the Baselines, and the XL fits better. The L fit my waist but squeezed my thighs and made me look like a stopped up sausage tube. Anyway, the XLs are perfect - they aren't particularly compressive, lay nicely on top of my body, and have so many pockets! Can't wait to play tennis in 'em.
