I am not pregnant yet but I snag this on sale. I tend to wear flowy dresses when pregnant and my thighs rub causing a painful rash so I wear shorts. Last time I was pregnant I was not able to find shorts so I had to cut off maternity leggings and wear that. I had to keep pulling down and it is a hassle with a belly. I love my regular rio because they stay put and hope this will too.
You can’t go wrong with these if you’re pregnant and need shorts! They are so comfy and the belly band provides the right amount of support. Once again, Senita has knocked it out of the park with their maternity gear!
Bought for pregnant friend but they have inspired me to try the 5” inseam for myself. They looked so cute on her!
These were exactly what I expected. I purchased a large (the same size I wear in non maternity rios ore pregnancy) because the LUX fabric is compressive. In other Senita leggings, I wear a medium. I'm glad I did. I'm now 31 weeks and 184lbs and they fit well. I can see these being useful to wear under dresses and such to keep everything in place.
These shorts are my absolute FAVORITE! Seriously, I wore them from 20 wks on and they are buttery soft. I went with my normal size small ( 5'4, 130lbs pre-pregnancy). They were my first senita purchase and the reason I bought more rios for after the baby. They stay put, support the bump, and worked all the way up until 40 wks. I wish I had bough more than one pair because I ended up wearing them so frequently.
